In June 2008, in preparation for a wedding shoot, I tested a number of noise reduction software products. The winner... Noiseware Plug-in from Imagenomic.

Below is a photo from the wedding formals shot at ISO 3200 with a Nikon D300. The D300 has very low noise for such a high ISO, but the noise is there. After running the photo through one of the default settings of Noiseware, the noise is gone.
