On longer rides, I wished I could stretch my legs out and relieve my knees from cramping. I found these highway pegs made for the V-Strom on Ebay. They are made by David Burgess at Hotwing Glass.

The 2007 V-Strom required a mounting rod that was ½ inch longer than the rod that David originally sent with the highway pegs. I contacted him and he sent a longer rod out right away.

As you can see in the photo below, there is barely any clearance between the rod spacer and the top of the exhaust pipe. It works though and has not caused any problems yet.
