The stock V-Strom windshield is way too small and creates a lot of turbulence for most riders. I replaced mine with a large size windshield from California Scientific.

The CalSci windshield uses the stock mounting location and hardware.

Normally, CalSci provides you with small black Kydex pieces to put over the screw holes in place of the stock screw covers. I didn’t like their look and so I cut out a small amount of the lower, inner edge to fit around the CalSci windshield.

This mod makes for a more finished look that retains the look of the stock installation.
